The Engineering Manager will lead a distributed frontend engineering organization, including development and QA teams, with a strong focus on people-first leadership and technical excellence. This role balances strategic oversight of frontend architecture with hands-on engagement in complex technical discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving. You will guide the evolution of React and Next.js-based platforms, fostering a culture of quality, velocity, and continuous improvement. The position requires mentoring and developing engineers, shaping technical direction, and driving predictable delivery across multiple teams. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams while ensuring consistent engineering standards, high-quality releases, and effective cross-functional communication. Accountabilities :

• Lead, mentor, and develop frontend engineers (~12) and QA engineers (~4) across distributed locations.
• Build a high-trust, high-performance culture, conducting regular 1 : 1s, career development plans, and coaching.
• Shape and oversee frontend architecture, including React and Next.js platforms, SSR strategies, and performance optimization.
• Review complex designs and pull requests, provide technical guidance, and unblock challenging issues.
• Drive predictable delivery through effective processes, metrics, and team rituals.
• Elevate code quality with strong review culture, testing standards, and automation practices.
• Partner with QA teams to strengthen test coverage, reduce regressions, and increase release confidence.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between frontend, backend, product, design, and QA teams.
• Translate product priorities into achievable technical plans and communicate trade-offs, risks, and progress.
