WHO DO WE WANT
The Head of Data & Analytics will lead the organization’s strategy to unlock the value of dataacross the business. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution to centralize data infrastructure, enable self-service reporting, and deliver actionable insights that drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders—from marketing and operations to finance and eCommerce—to ensure that the right data is accessible, trustworthy, and driving business decisions at every level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the company-wide data and analytics strategy.
- Act as a senior advisor to executive leadership on data-informed decisions.
- Prioritize and deliver high-impact analytics initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Champion a culture of experimentation, measurement, and insight-led execution.
Data Infrastructure & Integration
Oversee the architecture of the modern datastack (e.g., BQ, dbt, Tableau).Ensure clean, reliable, and connected datafrom core systems (PLM, PIM, ERP, eComm, marketing, sales).Design scalable pipelines and data models that support fast and flexible reporting.Improve data freshness, lineage transparency, and overall performance of the stack.Insights & Reporting
Lead the development of KPI dashboards and automated reports for business stakeholders.Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for both executives and teams.Enable departmental analytics by building embedded pods or self-service capabilities.Provide proactive insights that influence planning, forecasting, and strategy.Team Leadership
Build and lead a cross-functional data team, including analysts, engineers, and developers.Foster a high-performance, business-first culture of curiosity and collaboration.Mentor team members and grow internal capabilities in analytics, modeling, and storytelling.EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
Required
7+ years of experience in analytics, data platforms, or business intelligence roles.Proven success leading data teams in fast-paced, product-driven organizations.Hands-on expertise with cloud dataplatforms and modern BI tools.Deep understanding of CPG or retail business models and metrics (e.g., inventory turns, margin, sell-through, CAC, retention).Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.Bonus
