Position Summary

The Operation Engineer II is an intermediate level opportunity on our Facility Operations team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting facilities across our health system.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee the safe and efficient operations of the gas and electric boilers, HVAC, air compressors, pumps, emergency generators, and other auxiliary equipment
• You will oversee the safe and efficient operations of the hospital's infrastructure, ensuring maintaining all regulatory compliance
• You will monitor and assign work orders to ensure timely completion.
• You will perform tasks pertaining to the boiler room and steam distribution system
• You will perform rounds and inspections of machine rooms and roof areas

Requirements

Washington State Department of Ecology, UST Class A / B Certification

Completion of Vocational Trade / Tech certification program or Certificate of Licensure in the identified areas

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $31.06 - $51.34 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
