Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for an outpatient setting, requiring at least 2 years of adult care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an outpatient therapy setting with adult patient population
  • Shift schedule is Saturday to Tuesday, day shift (4x10 hours, 7 : 00am to 5 : 30pm)
  • No call requirements
  • Floating may be required within facility and scope of practice
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Expected to work major holidays occurring during assignment as outlined in the holiday policy
  • Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed; cannot request time off during the first week
  • Must be fully compliant before assignment start; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeks
  • Return travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least 1 full year prior to returning as a traveler
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • No blocked scheduling permitted
  • Orientation modules are completed during orientation and recorded via transcript
  • Requirements

  • Active GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum of 2 years of adult outpatient or adult acute care experience required
  • Two supervisory references from a manager or higher are highly preferred
  • Must be able to submit required documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing
