The College of Medicine at the University of Kentucky is looking for a Family Medicine Faculty Member to join its expanding family medicine department. The UK June Buchanan Medical Clinic is committed to the health and well-being of all residents in Knott and the nearby counties. Candidates must be board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP); board-eligible new grads can apply but are expected to be board-certified in one year.

Opportunity Highlights :

• The clinic offers comprehensive laboratory testing with a focus on safety and timeliness, ensuring that patients receive their results promptly, often by the next day
• UK June Buchanan Medical Clinic is committed to providing care to all patients, regardless of their income or ability to pay
• Providers have the option to reside in Hindman or Hazard
• Work with medical students and residents from the GME Residency program in Hazard and contribute to their learning and growth
• Providers can participate in clinical precepting at the residency clinic and hospital
• The clinic consistently earns patient satisfaction awards within UK HealthCare, reflecting its warm and friendly staff and the positive relationships patients build with the team
• Qualifying dependents can receive tuition support, and providers can access discounted courses
