Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist / Admin - Syracuse NY

CareerNation is immediately hiring Admins, Medical Assistants, and Phlebotomists for a screening event in Syracuse NY.

TYPICAL SHIFT SCHEDULE : Monday-Friday, 9a - 5pm (to be confirmed)

PAY : Up to $26 / hour

Skills needed for Phlebotomist Role : Strong and recent phlebotomy experience, minimum 2 years.

Skills needed for Medical Assistant Role : Experience with urine collection / labeling for drug screens, vitals, and manual BP.

Skills needed for Admin role : Comfortable with Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams. Ability to learn new technology quickly.

Phlebotomist Position Overview : The Phlebotomist performs venipuncture and capillary puncture on adults, neonates and pediatric patients; works with computer; communicates in a manner that promotes professionalism as well as a comfortable phlebotomy.

Qualifications and Education :

Certification : Certification from an accredited phlebotomy diploma program or certification from accredited Medical Assistant program required.

Medical Assistant Position Overview : The role of a Clinical Medical Assistant is to provide care to patients / significant others via direct and / or telephone contact, following established standards and practices. S / he coordinates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Assists physician or other provider with clinical procedures.
