Technical Product Owner (Cloud, IAM, Enterprise Platforms)
Optomi, in partnership with a leading national insurance carrier, is seeking a Technical Product Owner to join their enterprise technology organization.
This role supports innovation efforts across cloud migration, identity management, and platform engineering. You will guide two technical teams, own the backlog, drive delivery, and partner closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to advance key modernization initiatives.

Experience of the right candidate :
5+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Lead supporting enterprise software delivery.Background in property and casualty insurance or another regulated environment.Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), identity and access management concepts, multi-factor authentication, APIs, and hybrid on-prem / cloud patterns.Ability to translate business and technical needs into roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Strong workshop facilitation skills with both technical and non-technical partners.Adept at managing cross-team dependencies, risks, and sequencing across sprint cycles.Skilled in backlog management using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.Excellent communicator able to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.Responsibilities of the right candidate :
Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for two technical teams focused on cloud enablement, IAM, and enterprise framework tools.Partner with engineers, architects, security, and delivery teams to understand needs and shape technical requirements.Prioritize work based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment.Write detailed user stories, manage acceptance criteria, and validate completed work in coordination with the teams.Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across IT and business units.Monitor progress, identify blockers, and work with leadership to address dependencies.Track success metrics and report progress to leadership.Support continuous improvement across agile ceremonies and delivery processes.Represent the customer voice and ensure delivered solutions meet expectations and compliance needs.
