Description GENERAL DESCRIPTION (PURPOSE)
The Social Media Associate will assist in reaching and equipping people with the gospel of Jesus Christ
throughout the Valley and around the world by working with Communications Team to ensure posting,
engagement, analytics and mission of church are met.
This role focuses on building community and reaching both church members and the wider community
on social media.
This is a part time position.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION (SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION) Committed Christian living a life of obedience, with beliefs consistent with NPHX Church’s statement of faith
Must become a member of NPHX Church
Previous experience in managing social media accounts; experience in a church or ministry context preferred
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong written communication abilities
Trustworthy and professional with handling confidential information
Self-motivated with a commitment to excellence
Ability to understand and interpret data from social platforms
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Evaluation criteria based on these responsibilities listed on review forms)
Work with Communications Director to schedule and post content on NPHX social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
Monitor and engage with followers on social platforms
Track social media analytics to measure growth, reach, and engagement
Work with Communications Director on development and strategy of engagement
Stay updated on current social media trends and best practices
Work with Graphic Designer and Creative Coordinator to ensure those needs are met
Ensure all content aligns with the mission and vision of NPHX Church
