Cartage & Operations Coordinator

The Cartage and Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day transportation operations and ensuring timely, accurate service for customers. This role coordinates pick-ups, deliveries, billing, and accessorial charges, while also serving as a key point of communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily recovery work from linehaul and airlines.
• Prepare and distribute delivery receipts and driver manifests.
• Schedule customer-requested pick-up appointments.
• Track and update shipment statuses (OH, OFD, POD, etc.) and communicate delays or issues to customers.
• Resolve service issues, including rescheduling deliveries as needed.
• Provide accurate, timely updates to customers and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Manage accessorial charges : notify customers, obtain approvals, and ensure proper billing.
• Collaborate with leasing company for equipment breakdowns and maintenance scheduling.
• Oversee fuel needs and receipts.
• Process billing : rate jobs, confirm charges, and ensure accuracy.
• Collect and review driver documentation, including pre- and post-trip records.
• Perform other duties as required to support operations.
