CGI Federal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Analyst to support project execution business analysis and data-driven decision-making. This role combines project coordination stakeholder engagement process improvement and data analytics to ensure the successful delivery of technical and business support of a large government agencys Program Integrity efforts the Project Analyst will play a critical role in identifying analyzing and mitigating risks related to fraud waste and abuse.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with federal regulations enhance operational transparency and promote accountability across programs. This position requires a strong understanding of government operations data governance and performance monitoring to help drive continuous improvement and uphold the integrity of public services.

  • Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn MD 5 days a week

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Project Support :

  • .Support Agile and traditional project management activities.
  • .Develop and maintain project plans schedules and documentation.
  • .Use tools like VersionOne and Jira to track progress and manage tasks.
  • .Assist with risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • .Create presentations and technical documentation for stakeholders.
  • Business Analysis :

  • .Gather and document business and technical requirements.
  • .Develop process flows and user stories.
  • .Support user acceptance testing and training documentation.
  • .Track meeting minutes action items and stakeholder communications.
  • .Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

  • . Ability to obtain and maintain Agency Public Trust clearance.
  • .25 years of IT experience in project support or business analysis roles.
  • .Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • .Proficiency with Jira VersionOne and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • .Experience developing project documentation process flows and user stories.
  • .Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • .Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desired qualifications / non-essential skills required :

  • .Experience with Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
  • .Familiarity with process improvement frameworks (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
  • .Experience supporting user acceptance testing and training efforts.
  • .Background in technical writing or developing stakeholder presentations.
  • .Exposure to large-scale technical projects or federal IT environments.
  • CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79600.00 - $156700.00.
