About the Role

The Company is seeking passionate individuals to join its board of directors. Board members play a crucial role in the organization's governance, providing financial oversight, and ensuring that its mission and vision are upheld. This includes adhering to established guidelines, actively participating in the fiduciary responsibilities, and serving as ambassadors for the company's work in the community. The ideal candidates will be committed to the equitable economic and social development of the communities served and will work to identify and address any challenges that may put the organization at risk. Candidates for the board should be prepared to make a significant time and financial commitment, including attending regular board and committee meetings, and supporting the organization with a minimum of 8 hours per month. While the position is voluntary and unpaid, board members are expected to contribute in a manner that is personally significant, which may include financial contributions, solicitation of sponsorships, or support of the company's events. The company encourages individuals with experience in accounting, communications, fundraising, law, or event planning to apply, but all who are passionate about the mission and the communities served are welcome to submit their letter of interest and resume.
