Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele role in Michigan, requiring proficiency with telemetry and the ability to float to PCU.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a Medical / Surgical Telemetry unit
  • Must be able to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
  • Telemetry monitoring is a core part of the role
  • Must be able to read and interpret heart rhythms
  • A dysrhythmia test must be passed prior to working on the floor
  • Able to float between Med / Surg and PCU units as necessary
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted
  • Passing a dysrhythmia test is required before starting direct patient care

  • Active MI RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Med / Surg experience
  • Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Covid vaccination required, with exemptions allowed
  • Experience with telemetry required
