Regional Support Pharmacy Technician (South Palm Beach and North Broward)

The Regional Support Pharmacy Technician is an in person, patient facing position that will support the region in with coverage during Staff PTO. This is a Per Diem position. The Pharmacy Technician obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative / operational / customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. This role is in person, in a pharmacy, embedded in a primary care clinic. The Pharmacy Technician will be required to be on their feet, handle multiple tasks as needed to fulfill a medication and answer patients' questions, in person and over the phone

The Regional Support Pharmacy Technician, supervised by a Pharmacist, performs the following duties.

• Retrieves, counts, and measures drugs
• Assists Pharmacists in price-checking and restocking drugs
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer
• Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to Pharmacist
• May operate a cash register
• Follow standard policies and practices
• Will work as needed at the following locations : Plantation, FL; Deerfield Beach, FL.; Boca Raton; Delray Beach and Pembroke Pines

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $40,000 - $52,300 per year
