About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Program Supervisor to lead our Adult Behavioral Health Crisis Services Team in Taylor, MI. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee crisis screening, intervention, and intensive case management services for adults across Wayne County. The program operates 24 / 7 / 365—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—to provide timely and compassionate crisis response in collaboration with law enforcement and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the Crisis Services Team , ensuring efficient delivery of crisis screening, intervention, and aftercare referrals for adults referred by police departments and other community partners.
- Oversee the Intensive Case Management Team , supporting staff who serve adults at risk for psychiatric readmission, repeated emergency service use, or those under Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) orders.
- Arrange and / or provide after-hours coverage for crisis calls and staff support, including collaboration with local police.
- Monitor service quality, compliance, and documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Develop and mentor staff through regular supervision, coaching, and training.
- Partner with law enforcement, hospitals, and community agencies to coordinate care for individuals in crisis.
Qualifications
Licensure : LMSW, LPC, or LLP – Full license required (no limited licenses).Prior supervisory experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or case management preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.Compensation & Benefits
