CNC Lathe Set-up / Operator 1st shift

Overview

CNC Lathe Setup / Operator – 1st Shift — Waukegan / Gurnee area. Monday–Thursday from 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM (3-day weekends). Pay : $20–$35 / hr (based on experience). Languages

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Join our team as a CNC Lathe Setup & Operator and take pride in producing high-quality precision parts. You'll set up and run CNC lathes, ensuring every part meets blueprint specifications and customer expectations.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes, run Mills and Swiss Turning Centers
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, programs, and routers
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Maintain quality assurance records and meet engineering specifications
• Keep equipment running efficiently and support continuous improvement
• Report daily production in ERP system
