Inquiry To Order (ITO) Project Manager
The Inquiry to Order (ITO) Project Manager will work closely with the nuclear installed base services team. They will assist product line leaders by directing and coordinating required activities for potential projects from R1 (bid / no bid), R2 (proposal preparation), R3 (proposal negotiation), and R4 (ITO to Order to Remittance (OTR) handoff).
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure a schedule is created for each opportunity in accordance with the Workforce Planning and Scheduling procedure
- Maintain status and organization of multiple opportunities / proposals in various stages of the ITO process
- Develop and maintain schedule templates by leveraging past project execution lessons learned and project change requests
- Create proposal requests for subcontracted work as applicable
- Navigate the commercial risk management process for each opportunity by identifying technical risks and implement risk mitigation plans
- Facilitate proposal kickoff meetings
- Facilitate customer proposal comment resolution sessions
- Collaborate with legal to develop non-disclosure agreements as necessary
- Review purchase order contracts and compare to proposal language to ensure compliance
- Monitor schedules to ensure the Project Planned Start match the best estimate for when the project work will begin
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 2 years experience as a project managerOR a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience working on projectsProven professional experience in project management, engineering or businessEligibility Requirements :
The preferred work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) headquarters in Wilmington, NC but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered. (Relocation assistance provided)This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
