• Number of Beds - 48
• Number of Staff – 39
• Type of staff : o Full Time OT / PT / SLP including PTA / COTAo PRN OT / PT / SLP including PTA / COTA
• Patient Ratios – 4-5 patients (5.5 to 6 hours of treatment)
• Guaranteed hours : 36
• All travelers are required to float
• Documentation system : MeditechTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for : Must have :
• Must have In-Patient Rehab experience
• Must have Acute care experience Preferred or nice to have :
• 2-3 Years of experience in Inpatient Rehab and / or acute hospital.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• NDT or brain injury certifications List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :
• Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapy - patient evaluations & treatments
• Acute (Ortho, Tele and ICU) evaluations & treatmentsBest personality Fit :
• Flexible & hardworkingREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS :
• Active OT or PT license in TexasFloating Area(s) :
• Acute careDress Code :
• Scrub Color
• o PT / OT : Sage green / olive scrub top, black scrub pant, sage green scrub jacket. White or black undershirts only
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
• Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• Start time is 8 : 00 AM
• Attendance is monitored
• Work minor / major holidays
• All travelers are required to float
• Weekends and On call(if any)
• 2 weekend shifts a month with a flex day before or after weekend day
• No on call

Required Qualifications

Physical Therapist, Rehab

Experience : 1 year

Certifications : BLS-AHA

SSN Required

DOB Required

Work History : Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
