Seeking a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon Fellowship-trained in cardiac or cardiac and thoracic surgery Client needs 11 / 26-11 / 30 and 12 / 26-1 / 5 covered - additionally, they will need one week covered per month January-ongoing (must be able to work the November and / or December dates in order to be considered) Bypass surgery experience is required Need : 1-2 backup surgeons for CT surgery program Coverage need : One week or long weekend per month Job Responsibilities : 24-hour call shifts : 7a-7a (also open to 12-hour 7a-7p) Morning rounding with a PA; remainder of day for urgent procedures PAs handle calls ; surgeons are contacted only for urgent / emergent issues EVH (Endovascular Saphenous Vein Harvesting) performed by PAs PA takes consults , coordinates with surgeon by phone for further action Onsite presence not required after rounds; must be within 30 minutes response time Case Details : Average admissions while on call : 1-3 Average cases per day : 1-3 Annual case volume : 133 Typical cases : Open Heart, Carotid, possible Lung cases Trauma Level : III EMR : Meditech Support Structure : Full APP / mid-level coverage APP shift : 7a-7a What RecruitWell Provides : A-rated malpractice insurance Weekly direct deposit 24 / 7 recruiter support Professional onboarding & credentialing Prepaid travel & lodging RecruitWell Core Values : Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
