AIRCRAFT SAFETY EQUIPMENT PACKER

Monday - Friday

6 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm

$17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assemble, repackage, and inspect inflatable aircraft components such as evacuation slides, rafts, and helicopter floats in accordance with OEM specifications and written procedures.
• Read and interpret technical data, manuals, and drawings to determine specifications and ensure compliance with standards.
• Measure and verify components using templates, gauges, or other measuring tools to confirm dimensions meet required guidelines.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, and tugging to properly repackage inflatable components using approved tooling and methods.
• Collaborate with inspectors to ensure all parts and components are airworthy prior to packing.
• Complete all required documentation accurately for each work task in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Maintain productivity standards and support team members to meet department goals.
