Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Director of Physical Therapy located in Fort Payne, AL. The Director will oversee daily operations, evaluate and implement therapy programs, and provide hands-on physical therapy treatment. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care and outcomes. The role also involves managing resources effectively and contributing to long-term organizational goals through strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Physical Therapy practices and principles
• Experience with Orthopedics and Rehabilitation techniques
• Knowledge in Manual Therapy methods and hands-on treatment techniques
• Understanding of Medicine as it relates to physical therapy and patient care
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent, with appropriate state licensure
• Previous supervisory or management experience is highly desirable
