About The Position

Job Title : Procedural Radiologic Technologist

Must-Have : Graduate of an accredited radiography program, knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, medical terminology

Description :

Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the most central facility to be eligible to apply.

Locals can apply with a different rate structure.

The position requires competency as an assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures.

Knowledge of X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardiac structures, and sterile technique is essential.

The average number of cases performed daily is around 20 across multiple procedural labs.

The candidate must be familiar with various electrophysiology lab procedures including pacemaker implants, atrial fibrillation ablations, and leadless pacemaker implants.

The candidate is expected to scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures.

Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, as well as the use of different imaging equipment, is necessary.

The role includes attending to patients in a fast-paced environment with a focus on proper sterile techniques.

There is an expectation of participating in weekend call duties during the assignment.

Compliance with all procedural protocols and guidelines is mandatory.

Candidates must demonstrate experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.

This role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative approach within an interdisciplinary team.

Familiarity with various mapping systems is advantageous.

All candidates must adhere to applicable policies and procedures throughout the tenure of the assignment.
