This Senior Software Developer role supports the ongoing operation and maintenance (O&M) of critical PHMSA applications. Responsibilities include :

• Maintaining and enhancing existing Java-based systems
• Working closely with business analysts and PMs to implement enhancements
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
• Participating in Agile sprints and backlog grooming
• Supporting integrations with Oracle databases and frontend Angular components

Required Skills :

Java (Spring Boot)

RESTful API Development

Oracle SQL and PL / SQL

Git, Jenkins, Maven

Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Preferred Skills :

Angular

AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda)

Docker / Containerization basics

DevSecOps awareness

Familiarity with Section 508 compliance
