The Opportunity : Turn Referral Operations into a Revenue Engine
We’re hiring an entrepreneurial Product Manager to join our team in leading the next phase of product expansion across Partner-based Referral Management. This is a high-visibility role on a collaborative and fast-moving team shaping how referring organizations interact with the practices we serve.
What You'll Build & Own
This role is for a subject matter expert with deep understanding of referral management and hospital workflows, who can bridge customer needs with business, design, and strategic priorities.
- Monthly & Quarterly Roadmap : Bring genuine insight into industry trends and anticipate market movements. You'll pressure-test and sharpen our roadmap, prioritizing what drives value for users, and relentlessly pursuing ROI for customers.
- You will collaborate closely with the VP of Product, Sales and Marketing on the GTM strategy to capture our share of the Referral-Management Software Market; a market expected to grow from $7B to $17B+ in the next 4 years!
- Partner Experience : Lead and expand our Partner Experience layer—strengthening Hatchways and enhancing the referrer portal to make every referring organization’s interaction seamless, visible, and high-trust. Your work will directly improve referral capture and long-term partner loyalty.
- MVP to Scale : Closely collaborate with the VP of Product, Product Owner and Engineering to lead new products through MVP phase and into a scalable, market-leading platform, requiring strong startup experience and comfort with a flexible, high-demand, high-reward environment.
Core Responsibilities
Develop success metrics and ROI models for new features and products, tying product adoption directly to our revenue and retention goals.Own the referral-to-appointment workflow for both referring and receiving practices with a prioritized product roadmap that measurably increases patient yield.Lead user discovery across stakeholders (i.e. referral coordinators, managers, adjusters, referring providers) and validate workflows.Define requirements and acceptance criteria with the VP of Product and Product Owner.Partner with engineering to deliver high-quality, scalable functionality.Communicate roadmap updates, progress, and results to internal teams.Use data (Pendo, Metabase, Datadog and more) to track adoption, referral throughput, and customer satisfaction.Leverage AI prototyping tools and techniques to amplify your bandwidth and validate concepts quickly, demonstrating a modern approach to product management.The Ideal Candidate
Experience : 5+ years in Product Management in a B2B software company. Startup experience is a must.Industry : Proven background in Healthcare, specifically working with provider workflows, patient experience, EMR integration, and / or referral management.Experience with Managed Care, Workers' Comp, Value-based Care is a strong plus!Skills : Demonstrated ability to go in between design and business, with a keen eye for UX / UI and a strong understanding of ROI / financial modeling.Mindset : Values the flexibility, high-demand, high-reward nature of a small early-stage company.Comfortable owning a large surface area with limited guardrails.Compensation & Benefits
