• Patient ratio experience of 1 : 7
• No prior license or background hits

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry.

The nurse will work on a unit with a typical patient population consisting of adults and geriatrics.

Patients may have a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses requiring telemetry monitoring.

Common patient conditions include congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and diabetic care.

The unit has a daily census of approximately 28 patients and operates with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1 : 7.

Nurses will provide comprehensive care in a supportive team environment, including interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals.

Required skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry management, central line care, and heparin protocols.

Nurses will also be responsible for wound care, various types of monitoring, and administration of IV medications.

Candidates must have a solid understanding of EKG interpretation as part of the telemetry patient care.

A successful applicant will demonstrate strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
