Job description

Are you a skilled Radiology Physician interested in a rewarding locum tenens position in the beautiful state of West Virginia? We are looking for a radiologist to join a top-tier acute care hospital near Millstone, WV. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a flexible schedule.

Position Details :

  • Location : Near Millstone, West Virginia
  • Specialty : Radiology
  • Schedule :

Shift options available across days, nights, and weekends for greater flexibility

  • Standard daytime hours of 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
  • Multiple remote shifts available, including :

    • General Radiology : 6 : 00 pm - 2 : 00 am

  • Neuro Radiology : 4 : 00 pm - 12 : 00 am
  • General Radiology : 12 : 00 pm - 8 : 00 am
  • Musculoskeletal (MSK) focus : 12 : 00 am - 8 : 00 am
  • Block scheduling : Not required
  • Contract Length : Ongoing, with a targeted start date of November 25, 2024

    • Additional Work Details :

  • Full-Time Coverage : Required, with coverage needed for the entire month
  • Remote Options : Available for some shifts
  • System Used : PACS (Fuji)

    • Requirements :

  • Licensing : Active West Virginia medical license preferred; willing to license qualified candidates, particularly those with Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility
  • Board Certification : Required
  • Fellowship Training : Various focuses available; inquire for specific fellowship requirements
  • Experience in Trauma Level I or II Settings : Preferred but not required
  • Credentialing Process : Typically 4-6 weeks; expedited credentialing may be possible
  • COVID-19 & Flu Vaccination Guidelines : Facility guidelines applicable
