The Industrial Engineer is responsible in leading efforts for sustaining 5S, visual management, process flow, and facilitating

Continuous Improvement efforts.

Key Tasks

SUPPORTS CI ACTIVITIES BY :

Directly

facilitate and participate in ongoing process improvements using techniques

such as Kaizen, 5S, lean tools, and engineering change orders. Establish

metrics to monitor improvements (time, money, etc.) as compared to original

process. Explore AI solutions to improve efficiency and quality in the

manufacturing processes. Actively monitor project risk to foresee and

identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions. Work with the leadership team to develop

and deliver training on each new project.

MAINTAINS THE SUSTAINING OF CI

ACTIVITIES BY : Complete

post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved,

track KPI's, and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.

SUPPORTS OPERATIONS BY :

Partner

with the operations team to develop effective training tools and resources

specific to continuous improvement initiatives. Work with various department stakeholders

to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program

of change.

SUPPORTS QUALITY

CULTURE BY :

Partners with team members to develop new support

materials based on revised processes; to include training, reporting and

system enhancements.

MAINTAINS

QUALITY SERVICE BY : Participating

in cross training efforts as required; keeping error rates minimal and within

acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and exceeding

all performance measurements : quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and

thoroughness of work performed.

Your Background

Bachelor's

Degree in engineering from college or university, or an Associate's Degree from

college or trade school with a minimum of four years related experience.
