Our growing company is currently seeking an experienced Product Manager with a SaaS-first mindset to own and scale our ordering platform delivery. The Product Manager will oversee the full product lifecycle – market analysis, product strategy, development, launch, and optimization while ensuring our ordering experience is efficient, secure, and aligned with both client and regulatory needs. This position is ideal for someone with proven SaaS product management experience who thrives in highly regulated environments and wants to grow into broader product ownership across our roadmap.
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Market Alignment
Own the product vision and roadmap for ordering platform delivery.Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to inform platform direction.Translate government, higher-ed, and institutional needs into product requirements.Identify new market opportunities and emerging GovTech trends.Ownership of Product Lifecycle
Define and maintain product requirements documents (PRDs), epics, and user stories.Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives) with engineering and design.Prioritize features and backlog items to balance client value, business goals, and technical feasibility.Oversee product releases, QA / UAT, and post-launch performance monitoring.Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Partner with state officials, registrars, and institutional leaders to capture evolving needs.Work cross-functionally with compliance, sales, and marketing to support adoption.Serve as the product point-of-contact for enterprise and state-level clients during implementations.Communicate product vision, progress, and results to executive leadership.User Experience & Accessibility
Champion a simple, intuitive ordering experience across web and mobile.Drive accessibility compliance (Section 508, WCAG) ensuring inclusive design.Conduct usability testing with registrars, government personnel, and end users.Analytics & Optimization
Define KPIs and success metrics for platform adoption, conversion, and satisfaction.Use data insights to refine product features and optimize ordering workflows.Deliver regular reports to leadership and recommend improvements based on usage trends.Qualifications
Required Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relative experience required.5+ years of SaaS product management experience, ideally with ordering, workflow, or payment platforms.Demonstrated success in owning and scaling a digital product.Strong familiarity with agile methodologies and SaaS lifecycle management.Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder products.Preferred Experience :
Experience in GovTech, RegTech, or highly regulated industries.Familiarity with ordering payment platforms, digital credentials, or e-signature technology.Knowledge of government security and compliance standards (SOC 2, GOVRAMP, FedRAMP, FERPA, etc.).MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, or public administration.Physical Requirements :
This is primarily an office-based job that may require sitting for extended periods of time working on a computer.Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, to sustain adequate visual focus over a period of time.Fine motor skills, including, but not limited to, the full, complete use of and muscle control required to make precise hand movements, relative to tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, muscle coordination and dexterity.Core Competencies :
