Opportunity Details :

Involves in-patient consultation service and out-patient clinic work as well as teaching for medical residents and medical students.

In the Neurology department, we treat acute stroke patients with tPA - Thrombectomy cases are transferred.

We have won the AHA / ASA GWTG (Get With The Guidelines) gold plus award in stroke for 6 years in a row!

We have routine EEG capabilities during working hours. EEG interpretations are not required as they are read by an outside provider. EMG interpretations are not required as well as this is done by the Rehab department.

Qualifications

Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology

Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)

Ability to speak Spanish highly desired

Wages and Benefits include : Annual Base Salary : $255,000

• (board eligible); $260,000
• (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.

Sign on bonus : $20,000 .

Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional / per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $376,020

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional / per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous years average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits) :

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
