Senior Estimator (Hattiesburg)

About the Role :

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with 510 years of proven experience in commercial and government building construction projects. This position plays a vital role in delivering accurate estimates, managing bids, and supporting our leadership team in winning and executing projects. Their work focuses on hospitals, state and federal government facilities, and other large-scale commercial projects. (not home construction) The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial, healthcare, and government construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and proposals to prepare competitive bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Track market conditions, labor, and material pricing trends to maintain competitive estimates.
• Support the preparation of bid documents, proposals, and presentations for clients.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for public projects.
