Aging Services Department Director
The R6 Regional Council (R6) is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Aging Services Department Director. This position is responsible for the overall management, compliance, and effective operation of R6's Aging Services Department across the six-county region of Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, and Wayne counties.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day management for all Aging Services programs.
- Ensure program compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a regional team of clerical and program staff.
- Oversee budgeting, fiscal accountability, and resource allocation for department operations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and program improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with partner agencies, community organizations, and local governments.
- Use data-driven decision-making to monitor program performance and outcomes.
- Manage conflict resolution, employee performance, and team development.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in management or a related field.At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience, preferably in program administration, social services, public administration, or a closely related area.Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated experience managing staff, coordinating multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.Compensation & Benefits :
