Patient Registration Specialist

Location : Albuquerque, NM (Onsite) Position Type : Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8AM - 5PM Saturday Rotation : 8–9 Saturdays per year (rotational schedule), and 4-5 On-Call Shifts per year Pay : $15.75 / hour (non-bilingual) | $16.75 / hour (bilingual English / Spanish)

LHH is seeking a reliable and detail-driven Patient Registration Specialist to support one of our healthcare clients in the Albuquerque area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are committed to delivering exceptional patient service.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

Welcome and check in patients for appointments and hospital admissions

Accurately verify insurance details and secure necessary authorizations

Update and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare standards

Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently

Collect co-pays and process billing information with accuracy

Partner with clinical and administrative staff to support seamless patient experiences

What We're Looking For :

Prior experience in patient access, registration, or front desk roles in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Experience with EHR / EMR systems like Epic or Cerner is a plus

Ability to manage sensitive patient information with professionalism and discretion

High school diploma or GED required; additional training in healthcare administration is a bonus

Pay Details : $15.75 to $16.75 per hour
