Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience and ARRT (R) and (CT) certification for an evening shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital setting in the CT imaging department
  • Evening shifts, 4x10 hours, from 2 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM, rotating days with weekend rotation
  • No call required
  • Patients include those needing both routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
  • Use of a variety of radiographic equipment, computers, and detectors
  • Travelers are first to float to other units or locations within the organization as needed
  • Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
  • Set up imaging rooms and utilize proper isolation precautions when necessary
  • Participate in quality assurance, perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs, and address image processing and archiving issues
  • Collaborate with staff to triage and organize routine and emergent procedures
  • Pass / fail testing required prior to start with strict criteria, including a telemetry exam
  • One week orientation provided, with specifics communicated in the welcome letter
  • Weekend and some holiday rotation may be required
  • Parking onsite requires a permit; alternative transportation options are available
  • First-time travelers may be accepted depending on the unit

  • Minimum of 2 years clinical CT imaging experience required
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer required (license required if applicable)
  • Certification in ARRT Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required
  • Must maintain an active telemetry competency per calendar requirements
  • Travelers must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the work site
  • Locals are not accepted
