Location : NYC (will be required to work some onsite, flexibility will be provided)

Job Type : Contract and FTE both

Hourly Pay Rate : $70 W2 (negotiable)

Annual Salary : $140 k per annum (negotiable for the right fit)

bout the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows using Python , SQL , and Dagster . You'll work closely with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to ensure high data quality, reliability, and accessibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL / ELT data pipelines using Dagster .
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code for data processing and automation.
• Develop and maintain robust SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, data versioning, and orchestration.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external data sources.
• Maintain and improve data quality, documentation, and metadata.
