A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based services within a K-12 educational environment located in Silver Spring, MD. This role focuses on delivering therapeutic interventions to support student physical development and mobility needs throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assessments, treatments, and consultations via telehealth platforms and in-person within the school setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs, promoting functional independence and participation in school activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to ensure continuity of care and support educational goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and program requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience delivering physical therapy services in school-based settings.
• Proficiency in telehealth service delivery and related technology.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with educational regulations and individualized education programs (IEPs) is preferred.
