Our expected salary range is $140,400 to $156,000, based on experience, along with an extensive benefits offering that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
As a recognized technical expert in your engineering specialty, you will provide vital technical support and lead complex problem-solving initiatives that require innovative solutions and mature experience. Your strong knowledge of industry codes and regulations, coupled with your functional expertise, will play a key role in operational excellence.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Resolve complex operational issues through advanced technical tasks requiring unique solutions and impacting various operational scenarios.
- Ensure that products and programs enhance plant cost-efficiency, availability, maintainability, and operability.
- Offer leadership and technical expertise in your specialization by providing immediate support.
- Research and assess new advanced design products and programs for potential use in our plants.
- Stay updated with industry knowledge by participating in industry committees and disseminating information.
- Oversee functional supervisory activities including personnel management, budget oversight, and strategic goal-setting.
- Support nuclear plant operations through advanced engineering and technical tasks.
- Complete all other duties as directed by management, which may include emergency response responsibilities, departmental support, and involvement in outage activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineering) with 10 years of nuclear or related industry experience, ORAssociate's degree in a technical field with 12 years of nuclear or related industry experience, ORHigh school diploma / GED plus a minimum of 14 years of nuclear or related experience, with at least 6 years at the exempt level.Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles (e.g., Duty team lead, inspection lead) and effective leadership attributes.Strong working knowledge of engineering processes and systems in your specific functional area.Meet minimum unescorted access requirements and pass a favorable medical examination and / or testing relevant to position duties.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a non-engineering technical field or an advanced technical degree.Extensive experience with Electrical / Mechanical and / or Digital Relays is highly preferred.Experience working in the field with Protective Relays is highly preferred.
