Job Title : County Court Collections And Monetary Sanctions Assessment
Under general supervision, performs assessment work of moderate difficulty in County Court related collections and monetary sanctions, and performs related duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
The essential job functions include :
- Conducts financial interviews for resolution of monetary sanctions and determination of Public Defender qualifications.
- Implements Justice Court program audits.
- Tracking and accurate reporting of monetary and statistical case load.
- Interviews applicants to determine eligibility for deferrals or waivers.
- Sets up payment plans as appropriate.
- Posts and monitors payments through database.
- Prepares revenue and delinquent reports, issues delinquent notices.
- Researches addresses, social security numbers and other data to locate delinquent parties and apply skip traces.
- Prepares warrants.
- Files paperwork regarding payment cases and fines.

High School Diploma or GED; AND fifteen semester hours of post High School accounting course work; AND three years accounting or collections experience; AND a valid drivers license OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
