What You'll Do :

  • Set up, run, and inspect precision-machined parts.
  • Use Fusion 360 for both CAM and CAD tasks — from programming toolpaths to optimizing part design.
  • Collaborate with engineering to refine manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot machining challenges and find creative solutions.
  • Take initiative on projects that push efficiency, accuracy, and innovation.

  • Experience in machining and manufacturing processes
  • Working knowledge of Fusion 360 (or similar CAD / CAM software).

    Duties :

  • Tend CNC machines that perform milling and turning operations.
  • Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
  • Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
  • Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
  • Complete production and quality logs.
  • Communicate issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
  • Ensure that part meets client and Legacy Machining expectations.
  • Maintain an organized work space.
  • Other duties as needed.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • 2-4 years experience as a CNC machine operator is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Experience with and ability to read metrology tools.
  • Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
  • Good computer and mathematical skills.
  • Great time management skills.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
  • Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
  • Should have a positive and professional attitude
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds for short periods of time
  • Job Type : Full-time

    Expected hours : 35-40 hours per week;

    Business core hours : 9 : 00am-3 : 00pm
