About Nova Supports Nova Supports is looking for a Lifeguard to join our team, working in a day clinic for adults, teens, and children with autism.

Nova Supports provides ABA therapy to individuals with autism, and we are currently creating a swim program to teach water safety to individuals with disabilities!

Our mission is to provide COMPETENT and COMPASSIONATE care to everyone.  Position Overview Compensation :

  • $20-$23 / hour once certified Schedule :  3pm-7pm Monday - Friday Are you passionate about swimming?
  • We are hiring swimming experts we can train to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • This role is especially important because individuals with autism are significantly more likely to drown than the general population.
  • Teaching water safety is a vital part of our mission.
  • Our clinic has an indoor swimming pool we use for these water safety lessons.

This is a dual-role position that includes :

  • Providing 1 : 1 ABA therapy in the clinic under the supervision of a BCBA Leading swim lessons and water safety activities for children and adults with autism Supporting behavior goals, daily routines, and learning activities Collaborating with a team to ensure client progress and safety Supporting the lead swim teacher with administrative tasks  Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard Lifeguard certification Willingness to complete the 40-hour RBT training program (paid training) Passing the RBT competency assessment and obtaining certification within the required timeframe Ability to pass a background check Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to helping individuals with autism Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($20-$23 / hour once certified) Paid training (at a lower rate for non-certified applicants) Opportunities for professional development and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment 401K (after 6 months employment) How to Apply If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
