Vice President for Innovation and Online, Central Michigan University

The client is seeking a Vice President for Innovation and Online at Central Michigan University (CMU). This position reports directly to the provost and executive vice president and is responsible for the strategic leadership of off-campus and online program delivery. CMU is a nationally ranked research university with a diverse range of programs in areas such as health professions, engineering, business, communications, arts, and sciences. The university has over 14,000 students enrolled, with a significant portion taking online courses.

The Vice President for Innovation and Online will be a key member of the Provost's Advisory Council and the President's Senior Leadership Team. They will oversee the continued growth and expansion of off-campus and online programs at CMU. The university offers nearly 300 academic programs at various levels, including undergraduate, master's, specialist, and doctoral degrees. Additionally, CMU has a College of Medicine to address the shortage of primary care physicians in Michigan, with the inaugural class graduating in May .
