As a Patient Services Specialist at Lynx Therapeutics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive outstanding support and care. You will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring a seamless patient experience from inquiry to follow-up.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, addressing their inquiries and providing accurate information regarding their treatment plans.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, follow-ups, and necessary referrals as needed.
- Assist patients with navigating healthcare systems and accessing available resources, including financial assistance programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and cross-functional teams to streamline patient services and improve overall patient satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support to patients throughout their treatment journey.
Requirements
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.1-3 years of experience in a healthcare or patient services role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with healthcare terminology and procedures is a plus.Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with patients is essential.Benefits
