Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Cardiology - General / Other in Kansas

We are seeking a well-rounded Cardiologist for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in Kansas, beginning Jan 12, 2026. This opportunity involves a mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults and rounding, as well as scheduled call coverage. The schedule includes Monday to Friday day shifts with weeknight call and 24-hour weekend and holiday call. Job Details Location : Kansas Start Date : Jan 12, 2026 LOA : 80 days Provider Type Needed : Cardiologist Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm; weeknight call 5pm-7am; 24-hour call on weekends and holidays; minimum 7-day stretches preferred; ongoing need for 2 weeks per month Responsibilities and Duties Provide general cardiology services in an outpatient clinic setting Perform hospital service rounding, inpatient consults, and scheduled procedures Manage on-call responsibilities, including a 30-minute in-person response time and 5-10 minute response by phone Cover hospital general cardiology needs during weekends and holidays as required Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information Active Kansas medical license required Board certification in Cardiology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strongly prefer availability for a minimum of 7 consecutive days per assignment block Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
