Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and is repaired promptly. This position is vital for minimizing downtime and enhancing the company's productivity. As the manager is currently handling all preventive maintenance work, the new technician will assist with basic repairs and learn new tasks specific to the company's equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Mechanic with equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Perform basic repairs and learn tasks specific to the company's unique equipment.
• Conduct electrical wiring and repairs.
• Handle pneumatic repairs on cylinders.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Understand the function of conductors and relays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
