Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least one year of recent experience for a skilled nursing facility assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work primarily in a skilled nursing facility setting with some hours at an additional nearby location
  • Split schedule with main hours at one facility and support at another
  • Position provides care for adult and geriatric patients
  • Full-time schedule anticipated at 40 hours per week
  • Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions for adult and geriatric populations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Participation in interviews may be required as conducted by facility leadership

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of SLP experience in a skilled nursing or related setting
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross certification required
  • Skills checklist for SLP completed within the past 12 months
  • Valid professional references required
  • License required if applicable
