Ultrasound Technologist- Part-time - MFM SHMC STE Spokane, WA

Description

The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to patients for ultrasound diagnosis. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : Completion of education program that meets ARDMS prerequisite requirements for RDMS examination.
• Upon hire : National Registered Technologist - Sonography, or
• Upon hire : National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
