Lower Keys Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN physician for hospital call coverage in Key West, Florida . This is an excellent opportunity to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative environment while enjoying one of the most desirable locations in the U.S. Coverage Details

Start Date : November 8, 2025 - First rotation is 11 / 8-11 / 10
Duration : Ongoing (locum tenens)
Schedule : 24-hour beeper call, 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 AM
Practice Setting : Both inpatient and outpatient (hospital call only, no clinic)
Average Call Volume (24 hrs) :
6 phone consults
3 patients seen
2 admissions
Call Response Time : 30 minutes

Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST / CST / FSE)

OB ultrasound viability and targeted (anatomic)

Routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, c-section)

Breech and multiple births

Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations

Office / minor gynecology (IUD, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, cystoscopy)

Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic minor procedures, ectopic management, cystectomy, ovary removal)
