Velocity Rail Solutions has been a trusted provider of locomotive fueling services since 1996. We operate under long-term contracts with Class I Railroads, delivering consistent, year-round service using specialized equipment. This position offers local routes, home daily schedules , and reliable weekly pay .
Position Highlights
- Annual Earnings : $75,640+
 - Weekly Pay :
 
$1,540 / week for 60-hour weeks
48-hour week (every third week)Paid WeeklySchedule : Rotating 3-week cycleWeeks 1 & 2 (60 hrs) :
Saturday & Sunday : 6 AM – 6 PM (Day Shift)
Monday–Wednesday : 6 PM – 6 AM (Overnight)Thursday & Friday : OffWeek 3 (48 hrs) :Saturday & Sunday : 6 AM – 6 PM (Day Shift)

Safely fuel locomotives on an on-call basis during your scheduled shift — paid for the full 12 hours, regardless of the number of dispatchesRespond promptly to all railroad dispatches.Complete accurate diesel accounting paperwork and perform pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspectionsWear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Follow all customer safety rules and regulationsReport any spills or safety-related incidents immediatelyAssist with light maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work areaMaintain current training, licenses, and certificationsDemonstrate reliability, safety, and professionalism through attendance, communication, and conductPerform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Site LeaderQualifications
Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tanker EndorsementsMust pass all background checks required by the company, customer, and governmentResponsible for maintaining all required licenses and certificationsMust be able to read, write, and understand EnglishReliable, dependable, and able to work independentlyModerate computer skills requiredPhysical Requirements
