Radiology Physician

Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, LLC dba NURSES Etc STAFFING is sourcing for a qualified Radiologist Director for NIH Institutes Clinical Center located in Bethesda, MD.

Description of Responsibilities

Responsible for administration of diagnostic imaging operations in the Radiology department including clinical nuclear medicine. Leads, coordinates and manages budget, workflow, equipment and facility and communicates with PACS / RIS, radiologist and technologist staff.

• Assist in coordinating patient scheduling for routine, urgent and stat exams.
• Provide hand off communication between multidisciplinary teams including patients, physicians, technologists, interpreters, transportation and nursing staff.
• Setup equipment, devise positioning variations and adapt technical factors to accommodate patient condition.
• Perform pertinent quality control of equipment specific to the modality and established protocols.
• Verify all imaging and documentation is accurate and complete prior to submission into facility medical record.

Requirements :

M.D. or equivalent degree (e.g., M.D. / Ph.D.) is required.

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, with expertise in subspecialties such as Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, and / or Nuclear Medicine Clinical

Unrestricted medical license in the U.S. and credentialing eligibility by the NIH Clinical Center.

Performance Standards :

Quality of Service : All radiological services will be performed using RADIS industry-standard equipment and established protocols, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic images are acquired for diagnostic interpretation.

Compliance : The Contractor shall comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA, patient privacy and confidentiality laws, and all federal and state health and safety guidelines.

Full time 40 hours / week, Monday Friday. On-call rotation including weekends and holidays
