Senior Financial Analyst (Contract)
Location : Fully on-site in Seattle, WA
Compensation : $50-60 / hour
Benefits : Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in retail, restaurant, or multi‑division environments.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, PowerBI strongly preferred).
- Experience with SAP or another large ERP system.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Job Description
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes for assigned business divisions.Prepare, analyze, and report on financial performance, including sales, expenses, cost of goods sold, and vendor spend.Develop and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial and sales reports to management.Create and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning.Prepare presentations and analyses for senior management and the VP of Finance.Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs. budget / reforecast and provide actionable insights.Support process improvement projects to enhance financial and reporting efficiency.Develop and refine budgeting tools, systems, and processes to improve accuracy and visibility.Perform ad hoc financial analysis for new initiatives, projects, and special assignments.Equal Opportunity Employer
