Senior Accounting Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week for three months. The role involves supporting financial processes, training new team members, and contributing to the setup of accounting systems and practices.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the migration of financial data and processes to corporate systems.
- Provide guidance and training to new team members on accounting practices.
- Oversee payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage month-end close procedures and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring alignment with audit requirements.
- Handle intercompany accounting tasks and ensure proper reconciliation.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize accounting processes and systems.
- Utilize Paylocity and Dynamics 365 Business Central for financial operations.
- Ensure adherence to DCAA compliance standards.
- Support financial reporting and provide insights for decision-making.
Requirements :
At least 10 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.Proficiency in Paylocity and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.Strong knowledge of payroll processing and benefits administration.Expertise in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.Experience with financial statement preparation and audits.Familiarity with DCAA compliance requirements.Proven ability to handle intercompany accounting tasks.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
