Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance / quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools. Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, and root cause analysis techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry / reporting systems. Ability to work independently and within a team, including on swing or rotating shifts. Competitive hourly wage. Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Technician II role in Burlington, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform in-depth quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using calibrated tools and measurement systems.
- Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
- Assist with calibration, maintenance, and verification of testing and inspection equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance.
- Monitor production processes and conduct audits to verify adherence to established procedures and regulatory standards.
- Train and support production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies (e.g., ISO, GMP, HACCP).
- Escalate critical quality concerns to leadership and recommend improvement solutions.
